AbstrakudRekayasa material komposit karbon dapat dibuat dari karbon limbah organik serbuk gergaji kayu jati dengan matriks aspal (tar) sebagai bahan perekat. Secara umum, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari ???sifat fisis: ketahanan aus komposit karbon berbasis limbah organik karena pengaruh rasio komposisi???. Proses fabrikasi dalam penelitian ini dimulai dengan karbonisasi serbuk gergaji dan penggilingan menjadi serbuk karbon, pencampuran dengan aspal (tar) dalam rasio komposisi: karbon serbuk gergaji 60%, 70% dan 80% berat, dicampur aspal (tar) 40%, 30% dan 20% berat, dengan ukuran serbuk mesh 250. Campuran serbuk karbon dipadatkan dalam cetakan dengan tekanan beban 10 ton. Sampel prabentuk tersebut diproses curing pirolisis pada temperatur 700??C. Hasil pengujian keausan, kekerasan, dan kuat tekan menunjukkan bahwa persentase berat kandungan serbuk gergaji meningkat, laju aus turun, komposit makin keras. Nilai selisih massa keausan terbaik (paling rendah) adalah 0,28 gram, hal ini dihasilkan oleh komposit karbon dengan rasio komposisi karbon serbuk gergaji 80% dan karbon dalam aspal (tar) 20%.udKata kunci: Karbon limbah organic, curing pirolisis, komposit karbon, keausan.udAbstractudThe Modification of carbon composite material can be made from carbon organic waste sawdust teak using matrix asphalt (tar) as an adhesive. In general, this research has a purpose to study the "physical properties: The wear resistance of composite carbon based on organic waste due to the influence of the composition ratio. Fabrication process in this study begins with the carbonizing sawdust and grinding into carbon powder, mixing it with bitumen (tar) in the composition ratio: carbon sawdust 60%, 70% and 80%, mixed with bitumen (tar) 40%, 30% and 20%, with size particle 250 mesh. The Powder mixture of carbon powder is compacted in a mold with load pressure of 10 tons. Pre-samples were passed the curing processed at temperatures of 700 ??C. Results of wear testing, hardness and compressive strength showed that the weight percentage of sawdust increases, the rate of worn out was down, the composite was louder.
