Scientific studies, developed in this thesis allowed to develop mathematical models simulating in alignment and curve, the transverse behavior of a railway vehicle equipped with bogies with the following technologies:-. Conventional bogies with conventional axles-. bogies self-oriented axles,-. wheel-set bogies in pseudoglissement controlled,- Bogies with independent wheel axles.From these models were studied:- The transverse stability of the vehicle in the case of a constant-speed circulation, a good straight track located in a horizontal plane. The guide axle is assured only by the forces of pseudoglissement and contact geometry.- The semi-static behavior of the vehicle in the case of a constant-speed circulation in a curve of radius given with cant deficiency.With these models, taking into account several non-linearities (anti-hunting devices for alignment, forces pseudoglissement for curves) and corrected in the coefficients of pseudoglissement to have a good correlation with experimental results, it is possible:- Optimize the construction characteristics of the bogies,- To compare the performance obtained in the technologies considered,- To justify scientifically technical developments in progress that should enable the system to improve these guided technical performance.With bogie axles pseudoglissement controlled and independent wheels, can be obtained: - Without anti-hunting devices and independently of wheel wear, critical speeds in very high alignment greater than 500 km / h, a reduction of the guiding forces in small radius curves, and better behavior in the axle large radius curves (delayed on year, and reduced transverse displacements).
