More and more often, heating operations before forging and heat treatment of electrically conductive materials are performed using induction heating.Predicting the thermal behavior of the entire set “load to be heated-inductor” allows optimization of both the dimensioning of the inductor and the power demanded on the network.The present work is devoted to simultaneous develop of both numerical tools and methods and to integrate them inside several softwares.
