The Filipino nurse candidates in Japan under the EPA

This project investigates whether a system of bringing in Filipino nurses to Japan's health and care-work sector through an Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) is actually a suitable solution to Japan's increasing shortage of nurses due to demographic changes- and for the problems of the Philippine nures coming to Japan. It uses the theories of Global Care Chain (GCC) migration and push-pull factors to accomplish this, along with 4 articles by Japanese scholars studying the topic.
