摘要

In this paper we will research the RFID/NFC technology relevant to contactless payment, which is used on different events all around the world. We gained empirical knowledge by conducting interviews with the parties involved in the process of making this technology and also the customers that use this technology. Furthermore we looked at different places this technology has been used, and concluded that even if it is a good payment method, the experience of the people involved has been mixed. The system has not been entirely dependable, and this has resulted in breakdowns of the system, and dissatisfied customers. The fact that in certain festivals the system broke down and did not work as well as in other places around the world, makes it a risky paying method to use. Our goal is to figure out what might cause these problems, and eventually design or produce an idea of a design which should be able to solve the problems so that more festivals will use this technology. Before this can be achieved we wanted to find out why festivals wanted to introduce this payment method. This knowledge is relevant because our intervenience should not cause problems for the festivals. We learned that the festivals primary motivation was the economic benefits that followed. During our research we produced a prototype of an alternative program capable of making transactions and identifying potential customers, by using RFID technology.
