Predicted Corn and Soybean Acreage in 2008

As expected, projected corn and soybean acres for 2008 will be very different from 2007.The Prospective Plantings Report by the National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS), Agricultural Statistics Board, U.S. Department of Agriculture, was released on 31 March 2008. This is the first official estimate of 2008 planting intentions. The next report, Crop Acreage Report, will not be released until the end of June.
