The population wasudall student of Class X at State Senior High School 2 Surakarta in academic year ofud2009/2010. Sampels were taken by simple random sampling technique. Theudselected samples were Class X-1, Class X-3, and Class X-5. Data collectionudtechniques of the students result learning used test technique s in the form ofudmultiple choice objective test. The data was analysed by Covarian Analyseud(Ancova).udThe result of this research showed : (1) There were difference inudGeographic learning result between using STAD learning method, TGT learningudmethod, and Lecture Question Answer learning method on basic competent ofudhydrosphere analysing and impact to the life in the earth for Class X students atudState Senior High School 2 Surakarta. (2) Geographic learning result with thtudSTAD learning method was as effective as TGT learning method on basicudcompetent of hydrosphere analysing and impact to the life in the earth for Class Xudstudents at State Senior High School 2 Surakarta. (3) Geographic learning resultudwith STAD learning method was more effective than Lecture Question Answerudmethod on basic competent of hydrosphere analysing and impact to the life in theudearth for Class X students at State Senior High School 2 Surakarta.
