TECHNICAL EFFICIENCY BUMD USING DEA (DATA udENVELOPMENT ANALYSIS METHOD) ud(Case Studies (PD BKK) in Karanganyar district 2006-2008)

The research entitled Technical Efficiency BUMD Using DEA (Data udEnvelopment Anal ysis) Method (Case Studies PD BKK in Karanganyar district ud2006-2008)) has a purpose (1) to know the level of efficiency in BKK udKaranganyar district, (2) determine the factors that cause BKK Karanganyar uddistrict inefficiencies and solutions to achive efficiency, (3) knowing the health of udBKK Karanganyar district through CAMEL method. ud This research uses analysis of primary data by questionnaire method or udquestionnaire surveys or questionnaires, analysis of secondary data by retrieve the udfinancial data in study of BKK Karanaganyar district in 2006-2008. The method udchosen is to determine the performance of banking efficiency by using DEA ud(Data Envelopment Analysis) and determine the health level by CAMEL method. ud Results of research based on quantitative analys is with the results is udobtained by the DEA method in PD. BKK Karanganyar has shown inefficiency udwith score efficiency 95,62%, in 2007 PD. BKK Mojogedang, PD. BKK Kerjo, udand PD. BKK Gondangrejo experiences inefficiencies that each score efficiency is ud99,69%; 99,82%, and 99,69%, in 2008 PD BKK Karanganyar, PD. BKK Kerjo, udand PD. BKK Jatipuro experiences inefficiencies that each score efficiency is ud99,97%; 99,68%; and 99,40. CAMEL method of calculation results with weighted udassesment of the level of health in 2006-2008 that PD. BKK Karanganyar udobtained in 2006 has criteria quite well, while for others have health criteria. ud Thereover, suggestions that can be given as consideration in improving its udoperation that a good operational perfomance will become technical efficiency. udFor BKK Karanganyar distric has an efficient and healthy needs to be maintaned udand improved. udKeywords: Technical Efficiency, DEA (data Envelopment Analysis), CAMEL
