The objectives of the study are to find out whether:ud1. analytical phonics method is more effective than synthetic phonics method toudteach listening for the second year kindergarten students of Tunas Bangsa School.ud2. the students having high self-confidence have better listening skill than thoseudhaving low self-confidence.ud3. there is an interaction between phonics methods and self-confidence on theudstudents‟ listening skill.udThis study would be beneficial for:ud1. The TeachersudThis study informs the teachers about the application of analytical phonics inudteaching listening for kindergarten students.ud2.
