The Innovator's Dilemma: Disruptive Change and Academic Libraries

Using the concepts in Clayton Christensen's book The Innovator's Dilemma, the current situation of academic librries is reviewed. It is argued that academic libraries are the types of institutions that Christensen predicts will fail as they confront the distruptive change that they are facing.
