Application of flexlink transmission components for equal channel angular extrusion dies

New conventional die designs for equal channel angular extrusion (ECAE) with frictioncontrol at the workpiece's surface have been developed while conducting research focused ondeformation unevenness reduction in worked materials. In the present research, friction controlimplementation is based on an application of flexlink transmission components, which closelyembrace the workpiece deformation zone at the inlet and outlet die channel interface.
