摘要

This paper reports on the initial phases of a project that was designed to embedudEducation for Global Citizenship as a feature of the secondary provision for teacherudtraining at the Cass School of Education, University of East London. In planning theudproject it was decided to build on recognised strengths of our provision – the ‘virtualudschools’ initiative and our partnership relations. Both were recognised as strengthsudby Ofsted in their 2008 inspection of the work of the Secondary Group at UEL. Theudproject sought to weave Education for Global Citizenship around the framework ofudthese virtual schools using the strong partnership with school based colleagues toudsupport this initiative.
