A new method is reported for the-determination of traceudlevels of Ti(IV) in water by cofiotation and polargraphy.udTi(IV) is preconcentrated and separated by cofiotationudusing aluminium hydroxide as coprecipitant and sodiumudoleate as surfactant. Polarographic determination ofudtitanium content in the froth is based on the catalytic waveudofTi(IV) in the presenceof chlorate and oxalate. The effectudofvarious cations and anions on the fiotation anduddetermination of titanium has been investigated. Theudmethod has been applied to estimation of titanium inudnatural fresh water samples.
