Failure of the Universal Joint on the Actuating link road on the Actuating Link Road of an undercarriage in an AN-32 Aircraft

In an AN-32 aircraft, the universal joint on the actuatingudlink rod of the inboard door of the starboard undercarriageudwas found broken. Fractography revealed that this universal:udjoint had fractured due to a preexisting fatigue crack coupledudwith overload.
