Fabrication of Composite parts of composite rudder for audtypical military aircraft.

This document in detail explains the fabrication procedureudadopted for fabricating composite parts of the composite rudder for a typical military aircraft. The composite parts include leading edge out of GFRP, SPAR, Edge member, Skins, closing ribs out of CFRP. The problems encountered in autoclave moulding technology in fabricating complex components are in detail explained. The fabrication procedure for malcing soft tools is also explained . This report also deals with the bonding* of the aft section of the rudder using film adhesives and forcing adhesives.
