Pattern and Tooling Development for the Radome Fairings (TDF ADF ) for HOMI TU- 142M Aircraft

The I n h Navy under the programme SANGRAHA had initiated a project for the installation of 'HOMI ESM System' on TU-142M aircraft. The development of composites,radomes/fairings for the TDF of ADF antenna located at various points of the aircraft has been undertaken by NAL. There are 2 types of antenna fairings which are designated as the TDF and ADFfairings. There are four TDF radomes located on the under belly of the aircraft and there are four ADF radomes, two of them on the right wing top(in forward and Aft location) and the other two are located at the left wing tip.
