摘要

It describes the implementation proposal of a managerial information system for theSystem of Libraries of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (SB/UFMG). It alsoreports on the current situation of the information management in the System ofLibraries and emphasizes the importance of the information technology as aninnovation in the reports management, with the purposes of optimizing processesand supporting managers during decision-making processes.
