Developing Video Archive Library Using Omeka: An Open Source Digital Library Management System

摘要

The purpose of this paper is to aware LIS professionals and students about a Video library for educationaludvideo content using Open Source DLM Software - OMEKA. This paper will discuss about the importance ofudVideo Library for developing new education serve platform, within the context of Digital Media and DigitaludLibrary environment. OMEKA has been adopted by large number of Libraries and Museums at outside ofudIndia. This paper will highlight the brief description of OMEKA DLMS. And also focus in detail with how toudcreate Video Library using OMEKA DLMS; which includes online exhibition, video archive and connectudwith social networks.
