The aim of this paper shows the results of the study on the acquisition of social habits, in particular the reading habit, analysis from the didactic perspective of "assertiveness" concept, as used in the improvement of interpersonal relationships in any social field. First, it shows the influence of the environment and in particular the family in the acquisition of assertive behavior, and the reading habit as a social habit assertive communication. Secondly, a series of didactics strategies and criteria for the selection of resources, both readers and use of ICT, Internet and web 2.0 focused family and anyone who is developing this wonderful task.
