This article discusses the humorous institutional discourse. Such categories as coherence,uddialogicality, informativity, situationality, purposefulness, modality, intertextuality, theatricality are analyzed on theudmaterial of American stand-up comedians’ video records. The basic features of the categories are established and analyzedudwithin the humorous institutional discourse.
