El desarrollo de la colección de las bibliotecas universitarias en el entorno digital: transiciones, transformaciones y tendenciasud

摘要

In this paper we present a state of the art about collection development in university libraries, considering the literature on the matter. The bibliographic survey were carried out from the last three years in the core periodicals on the subject: Collection Building, Collection Management, and Library Collection, Acquisitions and Technical Services. We discuss over this new reality, proposing and suggesting ways to understand the collection development in the digital environment.
