Los instrumentos de medida de calidad y accesibilidad de la información sanitaria en Internet, aplicados a los contenidos sobre evaluación de tecnologías sanitarias.

With the proliferation of health information on the Internet different institutions have developed initiatives that have as primary aim the evaluation of the quality and accessibility of published health-related contents on the Internet. Between all the existing ones those selected are: the initiative of the Commission of the European Communities, the ethics code e-Health, HONcode, DISCERN, NetScoring, QUICK, HiQuality, HITI, MedCIRCLE, URAC, Project TNO QMIC and Project PWMC. A revision will be made through the Web pages of the institutions in charge of the development of that activity and the agencies evaluating health technologies. This information will be of use to most European members of the network EuroScan, according to the most appropriate initiative for these contents, the HONcode code. Among the pages evaluated, the Spanish are those of a greater quality in their contents specialized in health, with some aspects that will have to improve like most of the reviewed Web sites.
