The introduction of information technology into information circulation means information literacy to the hybrid library. The librarian acquires a new training and formative function, similar to the one of the library science lecturer. The training results more effective when the relation between the library and the library science lecturer is strong, since both actors are committed to the same scope. Dewey, Cutter, Ranganathan, Shera, and Gorman are cited.
