Networks can be seen as a new organizational form of relationship that aims at thecooperation among people. Collaboration gathers a variety of properties in a singlecapacity, looking for better results, investing time and energy in search for newopportunities, helping with the competitive intelligence process as well as withknowledge generation. Information mining and information scanning activities areessential for the structuration and management of networks, for they enable themapping of data, information and knowledge. Under this perspective, the purpose ofthis research was to diagnose the impacts of information scanning and informationmining in the scope of the Network. The Collective Subject Discourse (CSD) methodwas used, a verbal qualitative proposal of data organization and analysis, whichcontribute to diagnosing the Network context and identifying its main actors andconstituent elements, the institutional profile that characterizes the system, and howthe information scanning and information mining processes are carried out in theNetwork of Cooperation and Innovation in Functional Food in the State of Paraná.
