Growth of information and communication technology is strictly linked to interpersonal communication needs. Usage of modern solutions can help academic libraries to be one of the main source of knowledge transfer. Article presents different ways of interpersonal and virtual communication between user and librarian, based on example of Poznan of Technology University Library (in particular within experience of Reading Rooms Department and E-library Laboratory).udAmong basics forms of communication authors presents traditional communication (verbal and nonverbal) and more advanced virtual communication.
