One of the ongoing discussions in the library communities is related to the need or lack of need to create professional tradeunions, discussions which do not lose their novelty and temporarility even now that the tradeunion structures are found discredited. The tradeunion management model of the 20th century has been surpassed, which force us to reflect about the pertienence to re-found the contemporary tradeunism under different rules that go beyond the economical relationships, the social conditions, and the political structures.
