With humour and originality, Monika Reitprecht has made the Facebook appearance of the Public Library Vienna the most successful Facebook account among German speaking libraries. A selection of postings has recently been published as book. In this interview she explains, how daily life in libraries is transformed into funny status updates, how to be successful in social media and what you have to consider when you are maintaining a Facebook channel.
