Türkiye’de Akademik Açık Dergi Yayıncılığı ve Atatürk Üniversitesi’nde Açık E-Dergi Uygulaması / Open Academic Journal Publishing in Turkey and the Imlementation of Open e-Journal in Atatürk University

Open Access is a resource and publication udsharing model which has the aim of free serving of both individual and institutional information resources to the ones who need udthem. In recent times, there is a growing udinterest to this model particularly from universities both in Turkey and in the World. In udTurkey, many University libraries have started udto use Open Access Model to convert their udjournals to the e-journal. One of these attempts has been executed in Ataturk University in Erzurum in Eastern Anatolia Region. In udthis paper first, it is aimed to make a brief uddescription of the situation of e-journal publication in academic level in Turkey, and then udthe attempt in Ataturk University and academicians‘ evaluations are discussed in this udcontext.
