This article is an interim report of a research project which deals with the involvement of Nazi antiquaries in book expropriations during the Nazi regime. Next to expropriations and liquidations of secondhand bookshops also their beneficiariesare described, as well as further expropriation activities and unlawful acquisitions. In this article there is a regional focus on Vienna.
