University libraries are institutions given services to provide informations udaccording to the requirement of students and faculty main members of university.udDevelopments in the information technologies cause to increase responsibilies of uduniversity library and to extend its services. Web based learning model is a new udmodel that continues learning process from off-campus largely. This model udparticularly developed on universities and businesses areas. Therefore university udlibrary should get adequacy to provide all kind of information source needed web udbased learning systems. ‘Guidelines for Distance Learning Library Services’ udpublished by Association of Colledge and Research Library (ACRL) at 2000 leaded udto appear developments in this matter. After this date it is observed that university udlibraries planed their services in accordance with recommendations written in this udguide all of the world. Advanced services improved for e-lerning programs in the udUS and European universities have been attracted attention especially for a few udyears. Because of importance of subject, in this paper firstly developments aboutuddistance learning library services are examined. Afterwards samples of advanced udapplication in this matter are given and university libraries in Turkey are udevaluated.
