This work is a critical review of 10 pages long of the work: Fuentes de la historia contemporánea de México; libros y folletos (Sources of the Contemporary History of Mexico; books and pamphlets), 1st edition, of the author Luis González y González, published in Mexico City by the Colegio de México (College of Mexico) between 1961 and 1962, OCLC Record No. 936984. Review made for the course of "Mexican Bibliography" at the Undergraduate Program in Library Science at the School of Philosophy and Letters, Nuevo Leon Autonomous University, Mexico, the lecturer of the course was Ms. Maria del Rosario Banda Martinez. In this review I focus almost entirely to the description of the bibliographies and to its authors but as for their roles of bibliographers in the context where they are placed in this reviewed work. I touch, whenever I do it, the biographical or historical aspects of that context only superficially or tangentially, but I do not do a description of the works that are not bibliographies properly, except for the origins of the bibliography technique which historically it is justified. Although this is not either a comprehensive review, since as long as I carried out the review it became more difficult to include all the works cited by its author; not to mention the footnotes which I did not consider any. I do the review with my own words and I have cited the author literaly only there where for being a brief excerpt there were no better ways to write it but "ad pedem literae."
