Modeling and analysis of performance of computer networks is essential for ensuring smooth operation of an organizationu27s networks and preventing major failures. Mathematical analysis and simulation modeling are the common procedures for network system performance analysis. In this paper, a knowledge-based simulation model is developed that can be used for predicting network performance and reliability.
