Due to the worldwide acceptance of the GSM system, the growing demand for innovative services, the appearance of new generations of mobile phones, the evolution of standards and methods to develop new services and the legal requirements to locate the mobile station for security and emergency purposes, there have been great expectations for the development of new Location Based Services (LBS). In this thesis we develop a service of this type.
