Propuesta de creación del Servicio Express para vehículos de mantenimientos limpios y periódicos en el taller 'Granados' de automotores y anexos S.A.

This thesis project analyzes the mechanical service for periodic maintenancesin Taller “Granados” of TallerAuto S.A. To do this, processes involved in the serviceare taken into account giving more emphasis on the maintenance and cleaningprocesses of the vehicle. For determining possible improvements, the acquiredknowledge in Industrial Engineering is used such as process mapping, time andmotion study, statistics and simulation. Moreover, through simulation models, theactual situation of the vehicle’s flow within the workshop is analyzed to determine thecritical points along it. Subsequently, a modification to the model is done to determinethe viability of obtaining a vehicle that enters for maintenances of 5.000 Km and10.000 Km in an hour and an hour and a half. In addition, the main factors thatincrease the processing times has being identified: unproductive times, process flowdesign and the lack of tools. Finally, instructions are offered to detail the procedure foreach of the technicians who perform the proposed maintenance based on time andmotion study.
