This research aims to determine the relationship between the consumption of milk formula as a nocturnal habit and the occurrence of caries of bottle in children from 1 to 4 years of age who attend the consultation dental of the health center of the canton Jipijapa in Manabi province in the first half of the year 2015, using a descriptive research, cross-cut, with a universe of 275 children and dental cards, family chips processing information will be obtained and implemented a survey of diagnosis to identify socio-demographic characteristics, level of knowledge and practice of oral health. It will seek to establish a dental educational proposal for the use of formula milk where the basic recommendation is the limit, as far as possible, the consumption of sucrose between meals and not to use substances with high cariogenic potential to impregnate the nipple of the bottle.
