A GPS tracking database fleet of 15 trucks of the company Jarygom was compiled, the database is seven months long in which ice cream is delivered to shops and supermarkets in the city of Quito. Following the scientific method, a methodology to guide the process of creating the database, clean, analyze and graph the data was generated. All codes are programmed in Matlab to implement the methodology described above. Indicators related to distance, time of movement and speed of 1344 routes was obtained. Suggestions for improvements to the company, including the elimination of certain routes, creating new policies and improvement projects for the future was generated. In addition to this, evidence was found that validates the importance of the study of Urban Logistics in the city of Quito
