Consequently with the technological development of the industry at a global level, it is necessary the implementation of automated systems. Even though the automated systems are quite costly, they represent an investment that could generate a great percentage of profit for the businesses and industry because it raises the efficiency level of the productive processes. In oil industry, the use of automation tools is a very important and great challenge. At a domestic level, one of the most utilized equipment in petroleum production are the crude oil separators. The main objective of this engineering work is its integrated mechanical design, and control as well. Rather than starting a design, the idea of a production facility must be well understood. In addition, the processes involved in petroleum production should be determined. Hence, acquire a clear and concessive concept regarding a production facility.
