Desarrollo de un modelo hidráulico a escala de un canal para implantar un laboratorio en la Universidad San Francisco de Quito

The Project “Development of a scaled Hydraulic flume for implementing a Laboratory in San Francisco de Quito University” has like a priority the implementation of hydraulic models and the elaboration of laboratory practices with a pedagogic approach for the Civil Engineering students. In the study of the hydraulic channel will be analyzed the behavior of the water with various weirs and the difference between them, with this the flow can be calculated in all of the situations. In addition, the equality of the discharge’s distance of the water that goes through two holes at different heights will be verified.
