A gummy fortified with calcium was made from blackberry pulp. Its formulation contains: gelatin, glucose, sorbitol, sugar, water, blackberry pulp, calcium carbonate, potassium sorbate and blackberry flavouring. This product has two types of packaging: primary and secondary. The primary packaging is made of a polypropylene sheath with a micron rating of 30 microns, while the secondary is a corrugated box.The target for this group is teenagers as this group holds a strong tendency to consume these products. The product’s presentation is 140 g and it will be sold through supermarkets, neighborhood stores and pharmacies, at $2.75. Additionally, the gummy fortified with calcium will have an estimated shelf life of 7 months.
