Through this work, I propose the narrative structure and the audiovisual examples of image and sound to develop a television show. This project uses tourism as a way of entertainment and culture.Now a days, our society has been influenced through mass media communication and it has opened the cultural and social borders, which allows us to observe the things that are happening in other places. That is why our society is a combination of different cultures. This project is not speaking about identity in modern definitions, but is related to the cultural mixtures of today, the adaptation of traditions and the way people practice their customs in order to keep up with a changing society.The anchors, who are the hosts of the program, are: an American citizen, who represents a tour guide, and an Ecuadorian, who shares and helps the American citizen in all the activities that they do. They also give prizes to the people who can correctly answer questions about Ecuadorian traditions and customs.This document is conceptually based through different authors that analyze the concept of identity, in both modern and post-modern terms. In this way, the investigation helped set a foundation for this television program.
