Tetanus continues to be a serious health problem for neonates in developing countries, even though it us easily preventable through vaccines for women of reproductive age and hygenic birth practices are easy today. This study’s objective is to contribute to neonatal tetanus control through case reports of the disease in Ecuador. The presence of even one case in this day and age should be considered a failure of health services. This study was conducted in two phases.
