The present study compares the efficacy to remove the smear layer from two of final irrigation systems used in Endodontics. The ability in barrillo dentinario removal awarded by final irrigation with EDTA to 17% followed by sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl to the 5.25%) compared to the level of smear layer remove awarded by final irrigation with Qmix. The irrigants will have a time of 1 minute and a half inside the canal. This study will be done with help of images from the scanning electron microscope from each of the teeth subjected to the proper final irrigation Protocol.Eighteen single teeth between premolars and molars extracted for orthodontic purposes were chosen for this study. Subsequent to the removal of the clinical Crown of each tooth, root canals using Protaper rotary instrumentation technique were established. The canals were constantly irrigated with sodium hypochlorite at the 5.25% after each file. Subsequently, teeth were divided randomly into three distinct groups (positive control, final with EDTA and NaOCl irrigation and irrigation with Qmix). Finally, the canals were subjected to final irrigation with two irrigation systems chosen for the study.
