The following project presents a supply chain analysis for EPACEM S.A.,company dedicated to the production of palm oil and palm oil derivatives. Theseanalysis was addapted from the benchmarking process presented in the SCORmodel, thus it focus on identifying supply chains across the organization, and thendetermining a competitive strategy for each one. After identifying these supplychains, the project focused on measuring EPACEM’s performance according tothe objectives they proposed for each metric. According to the measuring results,improvement opportunities were identified and a proposal was developed, forapplying distribution centers in the supply chain network. The proposal was basedon the development of a distribution center location and demand allocation model.
