This thesis project denominated Tracking of Mobile Devices in a Cellular Mobile System Communication talks about the use of statistical algorithms for the prediction of signals received from a cellular network in mobile devices’ tracking applications. In this way the cellular network would have the capacity to bring additional services that could be operated according to the needs of the network users. This work has used Kalman Filter, which allows us to estimate signal minimizing the noise, in base of its statistical and data behavior. In this way, the basic scheme is an adaptive filter in the time to have major flexibility and better accuracy for the results.
