The polyvinyl siloxane impression materials are usually the choice in taking impressions in indirect restorative processes primarily for its excellent accuracy and stability , with certain requirements that are questionable in their handling, particularly in terms of biosafety and gloves , hence this study aimed to evaluate the inhibitory capacity of the material hardening that results from the use of two paste polyvinylsiloxane ( Express/3M ESPE and Elite / Zhermack ) when used in combination with clinical use gloves , latex-based or vinyl with or without talc employees with alcohol as disinfectant , loceta as mixing surface or bare hands , establishing 16 groups each with 10 repetitions The results showed that the use of the gloved hand technique achieving 100% inhibition, regardless of the use of latex gloves with or without alcohol, which was confirmed by the chi-square test that showed a p = 0 indicates significant differences in inhibition levels between groups showed that the capacity of inhibition clearly depend pasta manufacturing material of gloves independent of the paste employed .
