摘要

This thesis describes the process of design, construction and implementation of a wireless sensor network designed for measuring electric consumption of low voltage devices. This work is mainly divided into four sections. In the first one, all measurement circuits for current and voltage are designed. These circuits are simulated, using the software Orcad, to visualize their behavior. Then, the printed circuit board PCB is designed using Altium Designer software. This PCB contains a circuit for measuring voltage and five circuits for measuring current. In the second section, digital processing and wireless data transmission is implemented using the EM430F6137RF900. The programming of such processing and transmission processes are performed in the Code Composer Studio software using languages C and Assembler. For data receiving, the CC1111 USB Dongle is used. This device is programmed in C language using the ‘IAR Embedded Workbench IDE for 8051’ software. In the third section, all measurements made are presented in a graphical user interface [GUI] implemented in LabVIEW. This interface allows the export of these measurements in a [.csv] file. Finally, in the last section, a statistical analysis of the results is performed. This analysis suggests the implementation of a correction function based on a linear regression of the data which allows a proper performance of the proposed measurement system.
