The dentofacial deformities, are the ones that alterate the facial skeleton and produce malocclusion or an abnormal appearance, which means that every person who has an alteration in the shape of his face associated with malocclusion has a dentofacial deformation for this reason we begin a retrospective study, that allows us to know in stadistics, the age, sex, kind of alterations, surgical techniques that are used, and also the treatment that has been made in the differents patients that go to the service of oral and maxillofacial surgery of the “Hospital Militar de las Fuerzas Armadas de Quito”.
