The interest in investigating the psychosocial risk factors in the work contour has gained force in recent decades as a search for that worker to feel comfortable and identified in the work being done every day. Reach this includes assessing various subjective situations, family and social environment; in the absence of a Gold standard experts recommend using methods that complement the information. This study in an automotive manufacturing company of Quito, compared to double presence and esteem the biotype given by BMI, using the questionnaire CoPsoQ-ISTAS-21. The independent variables are taken from the same questionnaire. Answers show that 77% are men, 60% under the age of 35 years, 61% carries out operational work, and 84% have full time contract, 67% work in the morning and early afternoon hours; 68% have less than five years old. The distribution by biotype is 49% overweight, Normal 38% and 13% obesity.The responses indicate that both the double presence and esteem are present in the company and are important psychosocial risk factors and affecting mainly women, part-time staff working at fixed hours and with median age. This study also confirms the hypothesis that workers who suffer from overweight and obesity are particularly vulnerable.
