This thesis is a practical guide for environmental impact assessment for any civilengineering student, has a knowledge of how to perform the study. This can help mitigatethe impacts of works, then today's environmental concern does not stem from scientificthinking or scholarly activity, if not the realism of human impact to the environment.Knowing that it is impossible not to meet the needs of humans, and continue to carry outdevelopment projects, but it would be very selfish to think only in the economic (costbenefit),that is why the projects should be considered that the construction practices andoperating, produce negative impacts, and therefore was necessary to perform the EIA, asthis would produce a 360 degree turn in how to approach the planning, design andexecution of works.
