Análisis del sector pesquero ecuatoriano a partir de la dolarización

摘要

This work attempts to analyze the changes that have occurred in the Ecuadorian fishing sector since the dollarization that was implemented in this country in the year 2000. To understand fully the impact of the changeover, we must first analyze the factors that led the country to change its monetary policy, how the dollar was finally implemented and the impact such process has had. At the same time, we will get to know about the Ecuadorian fishing sector, the different factors that are involved and how they operate in the country. Subsequently, two analyses will be made to understand the impact that this process has had. The first of them will be focused in the economic, political, social and technological factors; while the second one will analyze the strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats that the fishing sector in facing nowadays.
